A Snapshot of Your Day

The QSC Project Manager is responsible for planning and performing turbomachinery inspection and maintenance projects within the Service Center, while also supporting the assignment of technical personnel to projects conducted outside the QSC

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and coordinate with QSC team the definition of scopes, schedules and resources to generate technical inputs for commercial proposals. Plan and carry out turbomachinery maintenance projects that take place in Queretaro Service Center.
  • Maintain and regularly update the overall planning of QSC projects and the allocation of on-site personnel, while ensuring business success through effective management of project schedules, scopes, and budgets. Serve as the primary liaison between internal and external customers, as well as the production, engineering, and quality departments
  • Monitor and report critical metrics for projects to the QSC Manager. Conduct regular financial reviews of QSC projects in collaboration with the Commercial Project Manager, ensuring alignment between actual worked hours and those reported in SAP. Submit monthly personnel hour reports to the QSC Manager based on data from MySPGI.
  • Develop and manage continuous improvement projects focused on the development of QSC infrastructure & capabilities.
  • Assign personnel for on-site projects as required, in accordance with QSC planning.
  • Ensure compliance with protocols, policies, guidelines, and competencies of the current integral management system (Project Excellence, EHS, Quality).

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or technology. / 3+ years experience with project management activities associated with service. / Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation rotating equipment repairs with technical ability and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work with teams and diverse stakeholders. / Organized mindset with strong documentation and work management skills.
  • Positive can-do attitude and ability to work in an environment with competing demands which require prioritization of activities. / Ability to work independently and demonstrate resilience and ownership of tasks.
  • Basic principles of finance. / Well-developed computer skills, ERPs, MS Office suite, MS Project experience preferred.
  • Proficient in English, capable of communicating fluently.
  • Willingness to travel on site for data collection and assignments up to 20% of time.
