About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
You will be joining an international finance team across Europe. You will be involved in a variety of regular ERP activities, including technical reorganization, carve in/ outs and system/ SAP client splits, and other ad hoc project work. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of these projects.
You will be involved in analyzing existing processes and identifying requirements needed for process re-engineering. You'll also work with partners across Europe to implement changes, whether digital or operational, and coordinate solving of issues coming out of accounting and financial processes in regards to systems and tools.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensure correct set up in SAP in line with IFRS, local GAAP and business needs
- Controlling master data support and maintenance in accordance with financial reporting guidelines
- Initiate and innovate process improvements and digital solution initiatives
- Maintain SAP to ensure accurate actual and planning (forecast, budget) reporting on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Responsibility for the provision, administration and maintenance of designated tools and processes for planning / accounting
- Support management and operational business based on accounting, closing and planning topics
What You Bring
- Full working proficiency in English, knowledge of German an advantage
- A university degree in finance, ideally in accounting
- Confident user of SAP and proven experience in Accounting, Reporting and/ or Controlling
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience working in an international environment is a plus
