How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support the inspection of combustion turbines, steam turbines, and generators at our customers’ power plants.
- Travel extensively (up to 60 - 80% annually) to perform field NDE inspections, adhering strictly to Siemens Energy requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing NDE applications and tooling for field use.
- Stay updated with the latest technology and certifications to ensure outstanding service.
- Record and report the results of combustion turbine component testing on site meticulously.
- Maintain and accurately use all NDT equipment to ensure flawless operation.
What You Bring
- A college degree or above in metal materials engineering, mechanical engineering, NDT, or welding.
- Knowledge of various NDT testing methods and certification according to ISO9712/ASNT, with a preference for level 3.
- Experience in power plant inspection, especially with Siemens Energy gas turbine or steam turbine inspection.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility, unrestricted mobility, and excellent communication skills to work effectively across different countries and cultures.
- Willingness to travel extensively, domestically and internationally, on short notice and work flexible hours.
