Join our dynamic team as a Field Service Mechanic, where you will play a crucial role in the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, assembly, and troubleshooting of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors. Imagine being at the forefront of mechanical service, ensuring that our equipment operates at peak performance while contributing to a safer and more efficient energy landscape.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will carry out mechanical duties involving disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and reassembly for Siemens Energy OEM and non-OEM compressors, as well as auxiliary equipment worldwide.
- Prepare for related jobs by compiling spare parts lists and reports to ensure smooth operations.
- Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and promptly reporting any near misses or incidents.
- Manage subcontractors effectively to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Prepare daily site reports and ensure timely submission of field reports and associated documents after project completion or site demobilization.
What You Bring
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.
- A background in the repair of other rotating equipment is valuable and enhances your skill set.
- You demonstrate the ability to perform assigned tasks effectively with limited supervision and collaborate well with others.
- Good English language skills, both verbal and written, are essential for clear communication.
- You can interpret specifications and follow directions accurately, along with the ability to read P&ID and isometric drawings.
- Flexibility to work worldwide, including weekends and local holidays, is a must.
- You are prepared for travel, with 80% of your time spent onshore and offshore as required.
- A strong customer focus and a vocation for field service are key attributes.
- A valid driver’s license and passport are required for this role.

You will be part of a multi-national and multi-skilled team of over 20 Field Service Engineers dedicated to supporting a wide range of rotating equipment globally.
