About the Role
- Country: MEXICO
As an IT Application Support for Document Management Systems, you will play a crucial role in our global IT Team in ensuring seamless IT operations and user satisfaction within Siemens Energy. Your focus will be on providing high-quality support for Fabasoft Cloud to our internal customers, following ITIL best practices. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues, optimize processes, and enable efficient use of the applications
Your Responsibilities
Support and Incident Management
- Receive and process support requests through channels such as ticketing system and email.
- Diagnose and resolve issues.
- Document all support requests and solutions in the ticketing system for transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Provide user support for basic cloud topics, including access management and troubleshooting error messages or unexpected system behavior.
- Assist with onboarding new users and business cases, ensuring smooth handling of basic tasks in the Fabasoft Cloud.
- Support the installation and configuration of software components as required.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Training and Documentation
- Prepare guidelines and training materials to help users effectively utilize Fabasoft Cloud.
- Provide training sessions if needed to introduce new features and best practices.
Quality Assurance
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features and use cases.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and internal standards during support activities.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles and IT service management processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a structured manner.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Hands-on experience in IT support or service desk environments.
- Experience with ticketing systems and documentation practices.
- Knowledge of Fabasoft Cloud or similar platforms is advantageous
