About the Role
Snapshot of Your Day:
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer in Orlando, FL to be responsible for the on-site management of complex power generation projects, including installation, maintenance, and commissioning of gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators.
- Lead large, diverse teams and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring all projects are completed safely, timely, and to the highest quality standards.
- Responsible for end-to-end management of turbine and generator outages, from initial planning and estimation of labor and material costs to final commissioning and performance testing.
- Responsible for maintaining clear and consistent communication with plant managers and other key stakeholders.
- 75% domestic and international travel required.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of experience.
- Will accept pre-Bachelor’s degree experience.
- Full term of experience must include: technical knowledge of power generation equipment;
- Knowledge of gas turbines including advanced frames like SGT5000 series, steam turbines, and generators;
- Control systems including Westinghouse WDPF, Siemens TXP and T3000;
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance on equipment including Siemens, Alstom, and Westinghouse;
- Customer relationship management;
- Heavy-duty steam turbine maintenance;
- Generator mechanical systems knowledge;
- Combustion turbine expertise; and
- Navigating complex international logistics and customs requirements.
- 75% domestic and international travel required.
