A Snapshot of Your Day (Position Overview)

As an FP&A Professional supporting Gas Services Global Service Operations, you will serve as a key financial partner for FAST Warehouse operations, helping ensure accurate inventory reporting, financial transparency, and operational decision-making. 

Your day may include analyzing inventory movements and valuation, preparing operational financial reports, supporting forecasting and budgeting activities, and partnering with warehouse and operational teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes. You will work closely with finance, operations, supply chain, and warehouse stakeholders to maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls while supporting continuous process improvements. 

This role offers strong exposure to operational finance, inventory management, and business performance analysis in a fast-paced service operations environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact (Responsibilities)

  • Analyze and monitor inventory financial data including stock levels, valuation, inventory movements, obsolescence reserves, and scrap to ensure financial accuracy and identify operational trends
  • Conduct variance analysis and collaborate with warehouse operations teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and financial records while supporting cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Prepare, consolidate, and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports related to warehouse operations, inventory performance, and operational cost management
  • Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, financial modeling, and ad-hoc analysis related to warehouse operations, inventory levels, and key operational performance indicators
  • Ensure all inventory-related financial transactions, reporting activities, and accounting processes comply with GAAP, internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements related to inventory finance, warehouse operations, SAP reporting, and financial systems to enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and data quality

What You Bring (Requirements)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, inventory accounting, or a related finance role, preferably within a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, inventory accounting, internal controls, GAAP, and operational financial reporting within a warehouse or supply chain environment
  • Experience working with SAP, Power BI, financial reporting systems, and data analysis tools, with the ability to independently manage complex financial analysis and reporting activities
  • Strong analytical, business acumen, accountability, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to partner effectively across finance, warehouse operations, supply chain, and operational teams
