A Snapshot of your Day

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Senior Vice President of Siemens Energy - Grid Technologies - Digital Grid. The ideal candidate will manage administrative tasks that enable the executive to lead the business effectively. Responsibilities include coordinating complex schedules across multiple time zones, assisting with specific projects while maintaining confidentiality, preparing information for meetings with staff and external parties, preparing presentations, maintaining calendars, and making travel arrangements. This role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel may be required. How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Work closely with the SVP of Digital Grid, Digital Grid leadership team, and local support staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Professionally interact with senior-level internal and external stakeholders in support of the Executive’s and the organization’s objectives.
  • Proactively manage calendars for leaders and their teams, including scheduling and prioritizing complex internal and external meetings across time zones.
  • Coordinate and oversee complex regional and international travel arrangements, ensuring seamless itineraries and quick problem resolution.
  • Plan, manage, and execute logistics for team offsites, fairs, summits, and events, including large-scale gatherings.
  • Improve team efficiency by solving problems, streamlining workflows, and anticipating needs, while understanding the business context to identify opportunities and deliver results in high-pressure, dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work, ensuring the accuracy and quality of deliverables.
  • Uphold the highest level of discretion and judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.

What You Bring

  • Completed Bachelor's degree
  • 3 or more years of experience as an executive assistant, with demonstrated expertise in managing a team of administrative assistants.
  • Strong understanding of business and operating models, with the ability to align administrative strategies to broader organizational goals.
  • Highly responsive and capable of working flexibly across multiple time zones.
  • Calm and focused under pressure, with strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident handling of and experience with management at all hierarchical levels.
  • Discreet and professional, able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot).
  • Proactive problem-solver with a solutions-oriented mindset, anticipating needs and thriving as a collaborative team player in dynamic business environments.
  • Ability to work with considerable independence and as part of a team.
  • Comprehensive and intercultural experience desirable, as well as a result-oriented mindset to manage time effectively, strong interpersonal skills, ambition, and initiative.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) for confident communication with our national and international interfaces; proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
