About the Role
- Collaborating on the development of new high-voltage switchgear within an international team.
- Modeling mechanical components and assemblies using PTC Creo while considering cost and functionality.
- Planning, setting up, and conducting development and type tests.
- Analyzing test results and deriving necessary design changes.
- Documenting work results in drawings that comply with standards.
- Supporting day-to-day operations through technical expertise within a cross-functional project team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Product Development) or equivalent.
- Several years of project experience in the field of electrical systems, particularly in the development of GIS high-voltage switchgear.
- Advanced knowledge of the design of mechanical components and assemblies, including computer-aided simulation tools.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD systems, particularly PTC Creo.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, a results- and customer-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently.
- Business-level English proficiency; knowledge of German is a plus.
