Join our dynamic team as a 3rd Shift Electrical Tester, where you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety, quality, and performance of large-scale power generation equipment. Imagine conducting comprehensive electrical tests on key generator components, including stators, rotors, and excitation systems, all within our advanced manufacturing facility. You will set up complex test apparatus, operate diagnostic equipment, and meticulously record data, ensuring our products meet stringent industry standards. Your role is vital in supporting operational tasks, such as assisting with heavy crane movements and preparing the balance facility for rotor and exciter balancing, contributing to a smooth and efficient production workflow.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will perform comprehensive electrical tests on complete generators, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor, interpret, and document test results using computer systems to uphold quality standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot non-conformities or failures during the testing process, ensuring reliability.
  • Maintain accurate daily production and testing records for performance analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Set up and prepare testing apparatus and the balance facility for rotor and exciter balancing procedures, supporting operational efficiency.

What You Bring

  • You have a strong background in electrical work or industrial testing, with hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and analysis is essential.
  • You possess excellent troubleshooting skills and can resolve routine technical issues independently.
  • A steadfast commitment to safety, quality, and precision is crucial for success in this role.
  • You are capable of working effectively under moderate supervision during the night shift.
