- Prepare design adaptations regarding power supply for large electrolysis systems, preparation of specifications / RFQs
- Development and review of power-supply related design adaptations, vendor selection, supplier support, factory acceptance test of equipment and support of erection and commissioning team
- Participation in product development and execution projects as electrical systems engineer with focus on MW-sized power supply
- Assisting in creating proposals for projects to develop competitive and high-quality customer-oriented bids for hydrogen generation plants through coordination of proposal documents and engineering estimates
- Assisting in performing engineering risk analysis before submitting proposal
- Collaborating on project installation, commissioning and site activities, clarifying potential issues or providing solutions to correct engineering errors
- Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering, with focus on power engineering or power electronics
- At least 3 years’ of professional experience in power system design or commissioning, component design or controls with focus on power / rectifier transformers, rectifiers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, cables, bus bars and measuring equipment
- Experience in project execution, commissioning, proposal and bid preparation, or product development
- Sound knowledge and experience in the areas electrical power distribution, power electronics and special expertise in DC-technology with double-digit kA currents is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
