A Snapshot of Your Day 


  • Provide technical support for LV/HV components and resolve issues (switchgears, transformers, cables, control systems) including Wind Hub cases and site escalations  
  • Conduct assessments, RCA, and component validation 
  • Manage obsolescence and alternative sourcing to ensure reliability and avoiding downtime  
  • Support retrofit, upgrades, and design changes (ZCD/uprates) 
  • Maintain accurate schematics, cable plans, and documentation 
  • Update technical specs, manuals, and compliance records 
  • Manage engineering data and BOMs in PLM systems 
  • Support repair and refurbishment activities 
  • Work with sourcing teams on suppliers and cost optimization 
  • Assist pre-sales with technical evaluations and studies 
  • Perform system validation and protection coordination 
  • Standardize components and optimize inventory 
  • Improve efficiency using automation tools (EPLAN, macros) 
  • Collaborate with global teams and site operations


How You’ll Make an Impact 


  • Provide technical support for HV switchgears and transformers, including Wind Hub cases 
  • Deliver L3 support, technical investigations, RCA, and retrofit solutions 
  • Support repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of HV systems 
  • Prepare and manage technical specs, manuals, and compliance documents 
  • Maintain PDM/ECM data, spare parts lists, and sales pipeline assessments 
  • Collaborate on sourcing, supplier discussions, and fleet updates 
  • Perform relay coordination and protection settings for WTGs 
  • Support pre-sales, uprates (D3), and performance assessments 
  • Evaluate retrofit feasibility and support regulatory upgrades (e.g., aviation lights) 
  • Develop compatibility matrices for transformers and key components

  • Technical Documentation & Systems Support
  • High Voltage systems – Transformers and Switchgears   
  • IEC 62271 – 100 & 200 Standards for High-voltage Switchgear and Control gear,   
  • IEC 61439 for Low voltage Switchgear and Control gear  
  • IEC 60076 for Transformers & IEC 60255 IDMT trip curves  
  • Electrical system design, assessment, and retrofits  
  • Knowledge about electrical system calculations according to relevant standards like IEC 60909, NFPA70E, IEEE1584, IEC 60364-5-54, IEC 60204, and IEC 61947  
  • Root cause analysis and technical problem solving & pre-sales and customer proposal support  
  • Value engineering and inventory optimization & PDM / ECM systems and technical documentation  
  • Cross-functional and multi-country collaboration  
  •  Knowledge of grid compliance, protection, and safety standards

The EDT team in India is responsible for providing end-to-end electrical engineering support across Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) systems throughout the product lifecycle, including design, service, and value engineering activities.
