A Snapshot of Your Day
Supervise & coordinate activities for Business Area Product Related Environmental Protection (PREP) (within EQS scope).
Support Industrial and Product Related Environmental Protection (PREP) relevant topic requests, aligning with existing Corporate EQS nominated persons, organisational structures, and instructions.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Drive and coordinate activities supporting EQS Product Stewardship Goals
  • Guide suitable management / control of Industrial and PREP related Aspects.
  • Improve Business Area Industrial and PREP awareness through instruction and training.
  • Support annual and quarterly data reporting for Business Area in to Enablon Metrics reporting tool.
  • Act as first point of contact for internal PREP related support requests made to EQS.
  • Advise Regional Hub Leads and Execution Unit Heads on Environmental topics.
  • Monitor Business Area progress against Corporate EQS Environment Targets
  • Identify annual PREP focus areas and action plans to ensure continual improvement.
  • Act as liaison between Corporate EQS PREP groups and GS EQS EHS Core Team
  • Strategic Focus (Pathway to 2030 & onwards):
  • Implement EU Taxonomy Do No Significant Harm Assessment (Factories, Products and Project Sites)
  • Deliver Carbon Neutral Programme (analyse and identify reduction potential in Scope 1 & 2 Emissions)
  • Improve Product Related Environmental Protection (solution for Material Compliance data pathway)
  • Harness Environmental Social Governance Due Diligence Analysis (risk planning on global trends)
  • Representing Gas Services in relevant workstreams.
  • Setting priorities and focus areas to align with upcoming risks and challenges.
  • Providing specialist expertise and guidance to the Gas Services on PREP compliance.
  • Acting as Project EQS Lead and Business Area Contact for Gas Services PREP programmes.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and taking action to deal with issues.
  • Delivering and coordinating improvements in line with EQS Product Stewardship Goals.
  • Maintaining, developing, and implementing Gas Services processes, as required.
  • Developing and retaining effective relationships with key internal stakeholders to minimise risk.
  • Driving PREP best practices across Gas Services EHS to encourage improvement.
  • Sharing technical expertise to improve knowledge and competence in Gas Services
  • Updating Leadership, where necessary, on the strategic direction and current position of Gas Services
  • Supporting relevant EHS audits (internal/external) as Business

What You Bring
  • Professional qualifications and experience in environmental management (e.g., IEMA)
  • Understanding of integrated management systems, including clauses and requirements of ISO14001.
  • Experience working with and implementing industrial and PREP management controls.
  • Qualifications and/or working knowledge of PREP legislation and concepts.
  • The ability to judge and influence the actions and behaviours of others.
  • Previous experience in a global function role (e.g., Division, Segment)
  • Existing knowledge of both new unit (manufacturing/production) and service business
  • Knowledge of Gas Services existing product portfolio (technical principles, function, and application)
  • Experience applying eco-design concepts and life cycle assessment modelling tools (e.g., SimaPro).
  • Encourage proactive monitoring and analysis of PREP legislation on processes, product life cycle and market entry conditions.
  • Highlight opportunities to mitigate risks to environmental management (Product & Industrial)
  • Explain PREP concepts, underlying principles, and relationship with activities / products / services.
  • Inspire and motivate team members to take greater levels of accountability, adopt transformational product stewardship practices, and increase transparency.
