The new member will be part of a team dedicated to the continuous improvement of OHS and environmental practices. They will participate in the development of the department's strategic plan in their field of expertise. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Active member of the joint OHS committee (facilitation, planning, dissemination)
- Follow-up of actions with multidisciplinary team resulting from injuries, "near misses" and audits
- Taking charge of internal or corporate OHS and environmental initiatives (Zero Harm program)
- Advising other departments on issues or situations to be resolved
- Maintain statistics and indicators related to OHS and the environment
- Internal auditor of the ISO9001-14001-45001 integrated system
- Ensure frequent and bilateral communication with the personnel in his field of expertise
What You Bring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in OHS (advisor or manager) or with similar responsibilities (example: production supervisor with experience in OHS committee) in a manufacturing company.
- College or university degree with a profile compatible with the position
- Experience in CNESST case management (an asset)
- Experience in a unionized environment (an important asset)
- Good communicator, good listener
