EHS & Q Professional at Siemens Energy

Responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) management systems to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. The role drives the implementation of SHEQ programs, audits, risk management, incident management, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business units, while promoting a strong safety culture and operational excellence. The incumbent also provides SHEQ support to internal and external stakeholders throughout Africa and the Middle East, with a primary focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and a secondary focus on Quality Management.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

  • Manage and maintain the SHEQ management system, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, client requirements, and regulatory standards across multiple business units.
  • Lead SHEQ reporting, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions (NCRs), emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive a strong safety and quality culture.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor SHEQ processes, programs, documentation, policies, procedures, and records, including document control and management reviews.
  • Provide SHEQ support to internal and external stakeholders, including training, tender submissions, service provider and supplier evaluations, customer compliance requirements, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support Africa and Middle East hub operations through SHEQ system administration, Enablon management, Zero Harm initiatives, performance monitoring, and general HSE leadership, with quality responsibilities serving as a secondary function. What You Bring 

  • Minimum Grade 12 Qualification or Relevant Equivalent Tertiary qualification
  • Degree or National Diploma in Health and Safety or Quality Management 
  • Must have SAMTRAC or National Diploma Safety Management
  • Must have ISO 9001,14001 and 45001 internal auditing Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years exp post qualification within SHEQ Management systems
  • Must have SHEQ Document control experience
  • Must have ISO 9001,14001,45001 implementation experience
  • Must be registered with SACPCMP, preferred accredited
  • Must have strong knowledge on construction regulations
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must have experience in an electrical environment preferably Energy transmission
