A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Professional, you will support operational teams by driving a proactive culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the organization. Your day will include conducting field audits, leading incident investigations, partnering with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company EHS standards. You will analyze safety data, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve workplace safety and environmental performance. This role combines field engagement with administrative oversight to help create a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead investigations of EHS incidents and near misses, performing root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence while monitoring key EHS performance metrics.
  • Conduct routine and ad hoc EHS audits across operational sites, identify compliance gaps and unsafe conditions, and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Develop, implement, and track corrective action plans while supporting risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Quality Management, Training Operational Excellence (OE), and the Global EHS OE team to align safety and quality objectives while serving as a visible EHS resource in the field.
  • Capture and communicate lessons learned from incidents, audits, and near misses, contributing to EHS policies, procedures, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture by promoting open communication, encouraging safety reporting, and leading by example.
  • Travel up to 60%

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), preferably within the energy, construction, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Enablon or similar EHS management software and the ability to travel frequently while working in industrial and outdoor environments.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
