About the Role

- Relationship Management: Cultivate and enhance Siemens Energy’s relationships with ECAs and other relevant governmental institutions to secure financing and investment support for customer projects.
- Expertise in Euler Hermes: Serve as the key expert for all matters related to the German ECA Euler Hermes (EH) export credit instruments.
- Solution Development: Support the TCF PF Advisory Team by developing tailored solutions for utilizing EH cover in complex project structures. Negotiate and implement these solutions with EH and other external and internal stakeholders.
- Representation: Represent Siemens Energy’s interests in expert committees focused on export guarantees and other relevant financing support.
- Liaison Role: Act as a liaison officer with relevant German Ministries on financing topics pertinent to Siemens Energy, in close cooperation with the Government Affairs department.
- Investment Guarantees: Provide expertise on investment guarantees and their implementation for Siemens Energy’s investments. Manage and potentially expand existing ECA instruments for contractual guarantees.
- Advanced academic degree in Law, ideally complemented by a specialization in Economics or Finance; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Extensive experience in working with Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), particularly with Euler Hermes export credit guarantees.
- In-depth expertise in investment guarantees and their application within international project environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex issues into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Fluent in German and English at negotiation level; additional languages are an asset.
