- Conduct fluid dynamic simulations to enhance the thermal behavior of power transformers and reactors
- Improve the usability, accuracy, and computational performance of the CFD simulation tool for fluid flow and temperature analysis in transformer windings
- Analyze technical requirements within the transformer business to drive improvements
- Collaborate with experts in heating, cooling, and simulation to foster innovation
- Support engineering departments in factories with insights from CFD and thermal analysis
- Drive innovations, including enhancements in cooling design
- A university degree in fluid dynamics, mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field
- Professional experience in thermal calculations and analysis specific to transformers
- Proficiency in CFD tools, particularly OpenFOAM and ANSYS Fluent
- Expertise in Python for customizing OpenFOAM and for scripting and automation, with a focus on clean, maintainable code
- Familiarity with engineering tools for heating and cooling calculations and understanding of standards and customer requirements for transformers
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team, with strong communication skills in English and knowledge of additional languages as an advantage
