A Snapshot of Your Day
As an apprentice, you will jump right into real work from day one, with support from your team to help you build your confidence and skills. In this 18 month Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship, you will help teams make better decisions by turning data into clear insights. Your day might include gathering information from different sources, cleaning up the data, finding patterns and trends, and sharing what you’ve discovered through easy-to-read reports and dashboards. You will use Alteryx to prepare and automate data tasks, work with Snowflake to organize and query data, and use Mendix for data applications, along with Power BI to create interactive visuals that tell a story for stakeholders.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Work with team members to understand their questions, define what success looks like, and turn their needs into clear tasks.
• Collect, clean, and change data using tools like Alteryx and Python, then create Power BI reports and dashboards to show trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Help teams access the right information at the right time using Alteryx and Mendix, making it easier for everyone to work with data.

What You Bring
We are looking for curious and analytical candidates who enjoy solving problems with data and can show:

• A strong interest in data and technology, and how insights can help businesses make better decisions.
• GCSE English and Math at grade C/4 (or equivalent) or higher.
• A team-oriented attitude, showing you can work with others to understand their needs and explain your findings clearly.
• Attention to detail and a sense of responsibility, taking pride in the quality of data and handling information carefully.
• Good written and spoken communication skills, with an interest in sharing stories through data in reports and presentations.
• Comfort using digital tools (like Excel) and a willingness to learn new analytical tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Mendix, SQL, and Python.

About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
