As the Distribution Transformers Quality Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring world-class product quality across a network of global manufacturing sites. You’ll help power communities, industries, and infrastructure with reliable, efficient, and safe transformer solutions.
Your mission:
· Lead the quality strategy for dry-type and liquid-filled distribution transformers, ensuring alignment with international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI).
· Standardize quality processes across our 6 global manufacturing sites
· Drive performance excellence by monitoring transformer-specific Quality KPIs
· Support plant-level teams in implementing robust process controls and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Collaborate with engineering and R&D to embed quality into new product designs and manufacturing technologies.
· Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and environmental regulations
· Champion sustainability, focusing on oil waste reduction, recyclability, and energy efficiency improvements.
What you bring:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
· 8+ years of experience in operational leadership roles within transformer or heavy electrical equipment manufacturing.
· Deep understanding of transformer design, testing, and manufacturing processes.
· Experience with global quality systems, audits, and certifications.
· Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tools like FMEA, CAPA, and APQP. Additional expertise in lean methodology is highly valued.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Willingness to travel internationally (~30%).
