A Snapshot of Your Day 

In your role as Cybersecurity Governance Officer (f/m/d), you coordinate and drive all activities in your responsibility of (Cybersecurity Management, Cybersecurity Policies and Framework, Cybersecurity Asset Governance, and Cyber Risk Management.) You take care of the organization and process as well as the cooperation and appropriate implementation of the Cybersecurity Procedures, Bodies and Boards in your area of responsibility. In addition, you build up and maintain a network of contacts within and outside of Siemens Energy regarding Cybersecurity Governance.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • enhancing the Cybersecurity policy framework (based on ISO 27001 standard) for compliance with regulations and organization compliance frameworks
  • develop procedures to verify compliance with regulatory requirements, best practices, and other specifications or controls to ensure ongoing organizational compliance. Additionally, define procedures for testing design and effectiveness to monitor the effectiveness of Cybersecurity Governance and Compliance.
  • focusing on patterns of non-compliances, to initiate improvement actions to further shape the Cybersecurity policy framework
  • develop and support the reporting capabilities for Cybersecurity via dashboards to management and business areas as part of the governance function
  • support the Governance processes and procedures for assets, exceptions, and other key items
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in computer science, natural sciences, or comparable qualification required
  • Analytical mindset and ability to quickly master new topics essential
  • Technical and organizational skills in cybersecurity and project management necessary
  • Experience in cyber insurance products for quick and accurate assessment
  • Good knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.) to underline expertise
  • Several years of experience in cybersecurity governance or similar
