A Snapshot of Your Day

The Customer Order Engineer will be responsible for the creating the application-based design of Voltage Regulators depending on customer requirements. This will require the use of application based electrical and mechanical knowledge. The work scope will include reviewing customer’s needs, compatibility with voltage regulator, selecting the proper product based on requirement, adding them to drawing and BOM, support production and all the other needful related to it. This position will report directly to the Head of Engineering at the voltage regulator factory in Richland, MS.

How You’ll Make an Impact

·         Reviewing and understanding the Customer’s specification.

·         Assembling and reviewing bills of material for customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness

·         Creating and modifying technical drawings using CAD software, following customer specifications and industry standards

·         Providing factory support for order processing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance

·         Interacting with new and existing suppliers to determine technical compatibility and modifications as required.

·         Designing control schemes and mechanical assemblies for custom applications, using engineering principles and best practices

What You Bring

·         A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience

·         > 3 years of experience in customer order engineering or a similar role

·         Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor

·         Experience with SAP or equivalent

·         Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

·         Related experience in designing or working on control circuits.

·          Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat

o   Preference:

·         Experience in the Power industry with voltage regulator/transformer products, low/medium/high voltage products.

·         Strong understanding of design-to-cost and design-to-manufacturing principles
