To act as country tax manager working within APAC, responsible for a broad range of tax compliance and tax support for Indonesia. To ensure the high level of tax compliance of the entities in Indoneisa, to provide timely and proactive advice to internal stakeholders and to act as liaison with external consultants and regulatory authorities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• To ensure full corporate tax compliance for Indonesia, including submission of tax accounting, WHT compliance, preparation of tax computation/tax return, Includes Direct and Indirect taxes
• To provide timely and proactive tax advice to senior management and internal stakeholders for Indonesia
• To ensure the timely and accurate tax closing process for SE entities in Indoneisa and monitor the tax balance with proactive activities to improve accuracy and cash flow impacts
• Explore tax optimal solutions including tax incentives, treaty relief, tax refunds etc.
• Support tax excellence focused process improvement
• Responsible for internal reporting required by local government, internal stakeholders, region & HQ management
• Responsible for transfer pricing topics for Indoneisa entities
• Responsible for the regulation update for Indoneisa and provide the tax training across the organization.
• Lead the specific tax projects for Indoneisa driven by region/HQ tax
• Manage the tax risk of country upon the local tax regulations and international tax rules
• Lead the tax audit in Indonesia
• Act as liaison with external consultants, regulatory authorities from tax perspectives

What You Bring

• A Bachelor of Accounting, finance management or tax; an advanced degree or CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• 10-15 years tax working experience in accounting firms or Industrious company, including 3 years’ experience as tax manager
• Strong knowledge in general tax and tax accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and able to understand complex business transactions.
• Able to identify potential tax risks and suggest possible solutions / mitigating factors
• Good command of English - both written and verbal
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate strongly with self-driven passion
