About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
The controls engineer will be part of Customer Technical support, as the name may imply, we respond to our customer's needs for technical support. Your day may start with an email from our distributor in Japan looking for technical clarifications for some recently purchased engines, followed by a local customer within Indiana who’s having trouble starting an engine. Either way, our customers look to us in times of difficulty.
Globally supporting our customers can sometimes feel like an immense task, but we act as a team, and no one is expected to know all the answers. Of course, there are also the less mundane tasks such as reviewing service bulletins and manuals prior to being released.
Its fair to say Siemens Energy is a great place to work with a very supportive management team that knows the value of a work life balance.
