About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
We're seeking a skilled Control and Instrumentation Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team at our power generation facility. You'll maintain and calibrate control systems, monitor plant performance, and ensure operational reliability while working independently on technical challenges—a key role in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on control systems (DCS, PLC), instrumentation, and electrical equipment, including diagnostics, calibration, and commissioning of new systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex faults in control loops, sensors, transmitters, and final control elements to maintain system reliability.
- Monitor control panels and system performance data to ensure safe, stable, and efficient plant operation.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and calibration results in compliance with plant procedures.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures, quality control standards, and environmental regulations during all work execution.
- Be available for on-call emergency support on a shift basis as required.
What You Bring
- Vocational or Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation and Control, Electronics Technology, or equivalent technical qualification; 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Control & Instrumentation Technician in power plants or heavy industrial environments.
- Proficiency with control systems (DCS), equipment maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance, and electrical equipment including steam turbines, boilers, and gas turbines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with mechanical aptitude and experience interpreting Siemens DCS logic controls (T2000/T3000).
- Expertise in instrument field equipment (pressure, flow, level, temperature sensors, and analyzers) and their calibration and maintenance.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards, accurate record keeping, and quality control in all operational activities.
- Computer, Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation and Control engineering background preferred.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
