A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Generator Component Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Generator mechanical scope and coordinating with the GS organization for the restack/rewind. Your day will involve ensuring all materials, tooling, and resources are aligned for successful project execution. You will also be involved in pre-planning activities, supporting installation during execution, and ensuring all safety and quality procedures are followed.

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the Pickering Refurbishment project, working closely with various departments to ensure successful project execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Champion the EHS culture on the Pickering Refurbishment project within your scope area.
  • Ensure procedures, specifications, and work packages are assembled for your scope area.
  • Monitor progress and provide input for adjustments to personnel and schedule to meet contract requirements.
  • Provide input to the Pickering Site Manager for emergent workscope requiring additional resources, parts, or tooling.
  • Accountable for the disassembly and re-assembly of units per Siemens specifications and quality processes/checklists.
  • Support development of the outage risk analysis, review the response plan, and ensure all tooling needs are identified and available onsite for execution as scheduled.

What You Bring

  • Experience in project management and field engineering within the respective scope area.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work closely with construction partners and various teams.
  • Ability to manage pre-planning activities and support installation during execution.
  • Knowledge of Siemens specifications and quality processes/checklists.
  • Experience in outage planning and risk analysis.
  • Ability to ensure closeout procedures are followed and all safety and quality checklists are signed off.
