A Snapshot of Your Day

In close liaison with the commissioning manager, your role as commissioning engineer passes by managing and following the work on site.


How You’ll Make an Impact

You will have a hierarchical dependency of the commissioning manager. Basically, among other responsibilities, the focus is:

  • Ensure that commissioning work is carried out as defined.
  • Support the commissioning manager in delivering the programme of works, quality, and technical compliance.
  • Ensuring and documenting that the installation proceeds according to pre-defined steps.


What You Bring

  • Manage smooth commissioning of the project.
  • Supervise the commissioning plans in accordance with project guidelines.
  • Review designs and supervise onsite commissioning activities.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning records of site observations, testing processes and checklists.
  • Outline procedures, norms, and details for writing the Systems Manual (if required).
  • Monitor installation, submittals and usage of engineering tools adhering to project and commissioning guidelines.
  • Guide testing processes and motivate specialists to achieve standard results.
  • Assist with identification and rectification of commissioning deficiencies.
  • Evaluate contractual commissioning milestones and instruction guidelines in accordance with the needs of the project.
  • Compile commission report data for summarizing.
  • Assist in summarizing and updating commission records.
  • Schedule and supervise operational reviews in association with functional staff.
  • Good written and verbal communication and leadership skills for co-working with colleagues and stakeholders with various professional backgrounds.
  • Having IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Language competencies in Portuguese and English.
  • Flexible and willing to travel.
