We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Business Partner to join our Project Finance Team in Offshore Execution. In this role you will provide insight, direction and compliance by having a solid foundation in accounting basics, data analysis and the use of digital tools / automation of processes. Building relationships to understand business direction and constraints is key. Core topics will be forecasting, budgeting, controlling and reporting, however we want you to really know “the business” and provide analysis, scenarios and sparring with stakeholders to make decisions with impact. This is a varied role where every day will be different with new challenges and opportunities. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Prepare forecast and budget information using system, organizational and stakeholder 
• inputs. E.g. financial records, planning data, purchasing information and operational meetings. 
• Review, analyze and comment on variances for your departments globally together with your team between actual results and forecasts / budgets and present such to management. 
• Use and develop digital solutions and automate processes to continually improve information quality and organizational insight. 
• Develop risk and opportunities associated with scenarios including actions and mitigation. 
• Use information and reporting systems to identify preferable commercial solutions. 
• Work with the Project Finance Team in PL, DK, DE, ES and UK to solve problems, share best practice and provide a consistent approach. 
• Ensure financial statements reflect true and fair view of the department’s activities.  
• Ensure compliance with our Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG) and Risk and Internal Control (RIC) process.  
• Performing resource related billing towards projects. 

What You Bring 

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting 
• You have 3+ years of demonstrable experience in a commercial or financial position, ideally within a large scale and complex organization. 
• You have excellent knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint 
• Experience of using SAP, MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps). Alteryx is desirable. 
• You are a strong communicator who builds excellent working relationships with colleagues throughout the business. 
• You have a positive attitude towards challenges and continue to seek ways to make improvements. 
• Very good command of English both written and oral
