A Snapshot of Your Day 


As EQS Chief of Staff (f/m/d) you will act as a strategic partner to the Head of EQS, managing strategic tasks and key projects, ensuring the EQS strategic goals are executed efficiently. Key duties include strategic planning, project management, facilitating communication across departments (EHS, Quality Governance, Security), and serving as a trusted advisor to the leadership team. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Strategic planning and execution: Assist in developing and implementing the EQS strategic goals and ensuring alignment across departments and the global community.
  • Project management: Oversee and manage cross-functional projects from conception to completion. Support/Coach individuals in managing SE wide initiatives.
  • Communication and liaison: Act as a bridge between executives and other departments, stakeholders, and clients, managing internal and external communications on behalf of the executive. Organize and moderate management workshops for global, regional, and functional leadership teams. Contribute to the external positioning of our team jointly with our communication experts
  • Executive support: Support the leadership team by preparing them for meetings and ensuring action items are completed.
  • Operational efficiency: Identify and address operational inefficiencies, improve processes, and help streamline workflows.
  • Decision support: Provide strategic counsel, analysis, and recommendations to support executive decision-making. 
  • Team and stakeholder management: Build relationships, manage cross-functional teams, and help with employee onboarding and staffing issues. 
What You Bring
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in EHS, Quality, Business, Engineering, or other relevant field
  • 5+ years of direct work experience, preferably in large/complex energy / industry / high-tech organisation
  • Able to understand EQS challenges and contribute content-wise
  • A proven track record in managing Lean, Agile, Transformation, Change Management and Communication activities (OKR / Coaching / Change Management experience / certifications of benefit)
  • Strong communication skills and persuasiveness, coupled with a confident demeanor and sharp business acumen
  • Well-developed organizational skills, teamwork, and attention to detail with ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal), moderation, and presentation skills in English and German
