A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a CAD Specialist (f/m/d) in NX, based in Large Gas Turbines Engineering, you will be at the forefront of innovation, working as a member and consultant of various diverse and cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge technologies and complex products. Your expertise will craft our designs and encourage peers, fostering a culture of excellence.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Improve CAD methods, collaborate with external partners for innovation in our design tool community.
  • Apply your business experience and foundational knowledge to improve methods and modeling strategies for increased usability of NX-CAD models in CAx applications.
  • Your proficiency in creating advanced NX-CAD models will enable automated and integrated design processes for highly complex components and systems, ensuring efficiency and rapid development cycles.
  • You will empower our Engineering community by providing essential support, training, and comprehensive documentation, ensuring seamless interaction with related models.
  • By actively contributing to our digitalization strategy, you will champion data reusability throughout the product lifecycle, leading the transition towards a model-based enterprise and setting the standard for excellence in our field.
What You Bring
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • Longstanding years professional experience, ideally in turbomachinery or similar complex product design background
  • Excellent CAD-modeling skills, NX preferred; Experience in building CAD models for advanced applications such as knowledge based engineering, CAD-CAx etc.
  • Related knowledge of (model based) product definition with PMI and data management in PLM space including sound understanding of product lifecycle management.
  • Experience and interest in programming such as NX Open and general digitalization is a plus
  • Fluent communication skills in English and good skills in German
About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
