About the Role
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including purchase order management, supplier invoicing, and maintaining material and supplier master data
- Oversee reporting and declarations (e.g., plastic, packaging, gas) while ensuring timely follow-up on orders until delivery to the final destination, regardless of transport scope
- Purchase order management, including tracking/expediting to ensure a cost-efficient supply of materials in accordance with demand
- Ensures items are delivered on time and expedited where necessary
- Communicates with suppliers concerning order-related items, such as delivery dates, and escalates risks to relevant stakeholders
- Monitors supplier delivery and quality performance. Escalates findings to relevant stakeholders and addresses performance issues with suppliers as necessary
- Maintains and updates supplier master data to ensure that the database accurate and up-to-date
- Negotiates prices and payment terms (low-threshold transactions)
- Demonstrates strong customer focus by handling requests in a timely manner with high quality standards
- Communicates efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Actively seeks process optimization and improvement opportunities in relevant areas (e.g. MoQ optimization, bundling of purchase orders, etc.)
- Relevant experience in procurement, engineering, and/or operations, manufacturing functions
- University degree preferably in fields such as business administration, finance, supply chain, technical, economics or any other related field
- English language - advanced level
- Spanish language - advanced level
