About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Business Improvement Lead and take the reins in driving strategic and operational excellence across the Small Gas Turbines (SGT) business. You will lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, utilising your expertise in SAP, Power BI, and Snowflake to optimise processes and enhance data-driven decision-making. Imagine designing and maintaining insightful Power BI dashboards that visualise KPIs while collaborating with functional leaders to identify and implement sustainable solutions. Your role will be pivotal in supporting digital transformation initiatives and ensuring that all business improvement activities are governed and reported effectively. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and govern continuous improvement projects across all SGT functions using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Analyse operational data through SAP to identify and address process inefficiencies.
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and track improvement initiatives.
- Integrate and analyse data from Snowflake to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to pinpoint improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in a Business Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Business Excellence role, ideally within the gas turbines, energy, or heavy engineering sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP systems, particularly in operations, supply chain, or manufacturing modules.
- A degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards and visualising data effectively.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms.
