A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Aftermarket Account Manager, you will lead commercial engagement activities for a portfolio of onshore wind service customers across North America. Your day will involve developing customer relationships, identifying new service opportunities, coordinating internally across engineering, operations, and commercial teams, and driving proposals and negotiations for long-term service agreements, upgrades, and wind farm improvement solutions. You will serve as the primary commercial interface for assigned customers while helping accelerate Siemens Gamesa’s aftermarket growth strategy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and execute customer-specific sales strategies to grow aftermarket service and parts sales across assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, serving as the primary commercial contact for service-related opportunities and negotiations.
  • Drive opportunity pipeline management, including lead generation, forecasting, internal approvals, and Salesforce CRM updates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, marketing, and category management teams to ensure successful customer outcomes and proposal development.
  • Communicate Siemens Gamesa’s service offerings and value proposition through presentations, commercial proposals, and customer engagement activities.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives including repower, overhaul, and greenfield opportunities in partnership with new unit sales teams. 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience within the wind power industry, preferably with an OEM, utility, IPP, or developer.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with a demonstrated customer-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as business needs require.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
