A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support the Head of Factory Expansions within Siemens Energy’s Grid Technologies. Based in Houston, TX, this role provides essential administrative and coordination support for both local and global stakeholders driving factory expansion initiatives.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support, including calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and meeting coordination.
  • Act as a liaison between the Factory Expansions Head and global team members, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-ups.
  • Prepare and manage documentation, presentations, and reports for expansion projects.
  • Coordinate logistics for onsite and virtual meetings, workshops, and site visits.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Support onboarding and administrative needs for new team members.
  • Assist with procurement requests, office supplies, and site-related tasks.
  • Track and follow up on action items from leadership meetings and project reviews.

 

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience providing administrative or executive support to senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, while prioritizing conflicting demands
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across international teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven success in cross-functional collaboration across global locations preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa support. Siemens Energy employees with existing work authorization may be eligible for internal transfer.
