We are seeking an AI Strategy & Portfolio Manager to be at the forefront of shaping Siemens Energy's Grid Technologies’ Business Area’s AI vision and driving its digital transformation journey. This position engages with cross-functional teams to identify impactful AI opportunities, manages strategic initiatives, and ensures ethical AI practices. Every day involves collaborating with business leaders, staying updated on the latest AI technologies, and promoting a culture of innovation. Whether you're refining the AI roadmap or championing adoption across the organization, the AI Strategist & Portfolio Manager will be pivotal in transforming ideas into measurable business outcomes.

We are targeting candidates to work at GT locations in the US (Orlando), the UK, Romania, or Hungary.



How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and refine Siemens Energy's AI strategy and roadmap, aligning it with broader business objectives and digital transformation goals.
  • Identify, and evaluate high-impact AI use cases across the organization, assessing their feasibility, business desirability, and economical viability, while defining Key Performance Indicators and measuring return on investment.
  • Oversee the end-to-end portfolio of AI strategic initiatives, enabling prioritization, resource allocation, progress tracking, and performance monitoring.
  • Act as an internal AI evangelist, promoting understanding, adoption, and best practices by working closely with leaders, functional teams, and the digital community.
  • Continuously monitor the AI landscape, identify new opportunities, and leverage advancements to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead efforts to uphold ethical AI guidelines, data privacy regulations, and responsible AI principles in all initiatives.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • 8 or more years of experience in developing and implementing AI strategies and roadmaps, ideally in a corporate or industrial setting. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa
  • Strong ability to identify, evaluate, and measure business impact and return on investment for AI use cases.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing a portfolio of strategic initiatives including prioritizing resources effectively.
  • Excellent ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Deep knowledge of the AI landscape, emerging technologies, and competitive trends, paired with a passion for driving innovation.
  • A strong understanding of ethical AI practices, governance frameworks (e.g. AIMS), and data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR).
