A Snapshot of Your Day 

No one day is the same as another - in a very multi-layered job, you can provide important support to our customers and open up new sales markets. With competent employees and innovative tools, as a Service Technician (f/m/d) for steam turbines in an international environment, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the assembly work of steam turbines and their components in the service as well as new plant business in a quality and timely manner, the vital transfer of know-how and the implementation of technical / contractual specifications. They are supported by an expert back office of expert technicians, foremen and machine operators.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Employment primarily in maintenance and repair works of steam turbines, in the plant of our customers (Germany-wide as well as abroad)
  • Independent disassembly and assembly of components as well as the entire aggregates and team-oriented work
  • Troubleshooting, recording and protocoling of values / datas
  • First contact person for the customer on site (if vital, with support from colleagues in the Technical Service Center)
What You Bring

  • Apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic or comparable training / experience
  • Willingness to travel, up to 90%, variable work conditions (national and international, weekends / holidays to work)
  • Knowledge of the power plant / oil / gas / or refinery industry is an advantage.
  • Good English language skills and car driving license
  • Physical resilience and pleasure in technical troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office and ideally SAP
