Title: Technical Trainer

Location: Orlando, FL

Position Overview:

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, LLC is seeking a Technical Trainer (Orlando, FL) to teach multiple courses related to maintenance, troubleshooting and operational leadership for wind turbine operations while maintaining the highest quality standards. Support strategic projects in the department related to training and development. Support the development of training by consulting with management and customers. Evaluate effectiveness and suggest enhancements to current training programs. Create and update training course materials. Maintain tracking and storage of required training session documentation. Travel to wind farms to conduct training and competence evaluations. 15% domestic/international travel required.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience. Full term of experience must involve: strategy development; administration and continuous improvement of technical and safety training within the wind service industry; management experience to lead and develop local and virtual teams; instructional methodology; instructional system design; development of strategic programs to support continuous business growth; implementing methods for measuring training effectiveness and ROI. 15% domestic/international travel required.
