A Snapshot of Your Day

Meet with the customer personnel in the morning to assess any current need for parts, and document any parts that may have been used since the previous business day. Release needed parts from SGRE inventory to the customer personnel, or place orders for any parts required that are not onsite in SGRE inventory. Consume parts in SAP as they are installed into the turbines. Place reorders to backfill any consumed parts. Review site inventory on a recurring basis to ensure it is accurately reflected in the SAP system. Discuss any other needs the customer may have (engineering support, Heavy Lift support, Specialist support, etc.) and communicate to the proper teams in SGRE as needed.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Effective communication with the site customer personnel regarding parts management
  • Working knowledge of SAP functions related to consuming and ordering parts
  • Network with the supporting SGRE teams to resolve other customer needs as they arise

What You Bring

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Positive customer interaction
  • Ability to obtain working knowledge of required SAP functions
  • Diligent focus on parts management to ensure required parts are ordered and delivered quickly, and SGRE site inventory is correct and accurate.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
