A Snapshot of Your Day

As part of our digital transformation journey, we are implementing SAP S/4HANA across our global operations. In your role as Service Process Lead (f/m/d) within Transformation of Industry – Steam Turbines and Generators (TI STG) you own the end-to-end Service capability within our S/4HANA transformation.

You will serve as the strategic and operational authority for all service processes and tools across our business area, translating business needs into globally harmonized SAP solutions that enable consistent, efficient, and scalable service execution worldwide: aligning global standards with local execution realities, challenging deviations where needed, and ensuring that service processes are fit for purpose not only at go-live, but for years to come. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, you ensure that SAP service solutions support real operational needs and long-term business objectives.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Act as a peer to the Global Process Owner for Service, the S4E-TI Lead and team, and other Business Areas, actively shaping global design decisions for Service within SAP
  • Define, standardize, and continuously improve service processes within SAP S/4HANA, balancing global harmonization with local execution requirements
  • Manage Service capability across multiple rollout entities, understanding necessary organizational changes
  • Serve as the central spokesperson for Service Capabilities within the business area, providing clarity, direction, and transparency across stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure proper integration of project-related processes with other SAP modules and identify process improvement opportunities

What You Bring

  • Degree in business, technology, or a related field
  • Longstanding experience with end-to-end project processes and SAP-based service processes and tools (e.g. SAP FSM, TCTP, Salesforce), ideally in global or multi-entity transformation programs
  • Ability to balance global standardization with local execution needs as well as analytical skills to structure complexity and find sustainable solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in fluent English and good German, since the main project language is English
