Its end-to-end value chain presence encompasses onshore and offshore wind turbines design, manufacturing, and installation as well as cutting-edge service solutions. We are currently looking for a dedicated Project Manager to lead complex projects within the Large Corrective Project Management in NAM region. The Project Manager designs, develops and manages such projects, according to defined Project Management (PM) standards, stakeholder requirements and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. Tax regulations, Export Control, QHSE). Travel required up to 25%.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensure EHS standards, procedures and EHS plans are implemented at project sites to create a Home Safe environment, driving the Zero Harm Culture.
- Full project responsibility in terms of time, cost and quality delivered - from scoping phase until project closure, oversee the technical, financial, and completion of main component exchange throughout North America region.
- Define the technical project scope together with the technical department and support the tender process together with procurement.
- Support the CPM with the budget and cost planning structure, risk analysis.
- Plan resources, cranes, platforms, material & tools and logistics for the execution.
- Execute the project according to agreed working packages, budget and timeline.
- Control, prepare and maintain the project status (financially as well as technically), monitor milestones and adherence to budgets, and initiates actions to minimize non-conformance cost.
- Contract and claim management of your project and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
- Manage and align the projects different stakeholders e.g. suppliers, service providers, official authorities, customers or internal stakeholders.
- Lead the daily project execution and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support on internal improvement, quality and standardization projects.
- Data management and tracking related to major campaign projects for conventional exchanges, and on all SGRE platform types
What You Bring
- A degree/diploma in Engineering
- 3-5 years in a similar position with strong operational background.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong ability to manage internal and external clients, analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation.
- Strong understanding of short and long term planning.
- Good computer skills. Competent in the use of Microsoft platforms like Outlook, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, TEAMS, and other Office 365 Suit programs.
- The ability to travel on a regular basis which will typically be between the Siemens Gamesa wind farm sites to oversee projects in execution phase.
- The ability to ascend to heights up to 250 feet or greater, work in confined spaces, discern colors and meet body weight restrictions of 260 pounds
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States of America. Qualified applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the US.
- Certification from the Project management institute is a plus.
