A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Gas Turbine Control System Expert (f/m/d), you will be part of our global product development team responsible for the automation of our gas turbine packages. In this role, you will work closely with our global bid and project engineering teams.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Functional coordination of the team and technical responsibility for standard engineering of turbine control and protection
  • Further development of technological leadership and contribution to supplier development for turbine control and protection components in line with gas turbine technology requirements
  • Identification and implementation of cost reduction measures, including active knowledge exchange with relevant stakeholders
  • Advisory support to development management, gas turbine engineering, sales, and project execution on technical topics
  • Support of projects involving complex technical solutions and consulting during bid preparation, including tender and specification analysis
  • Responsibility for the maintenance and further development of internal engineering tools

What You Bring

  • University degree in engineering (preferably electrical engineering) or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive professional experience in turbine automation, with strong knowledge of control systems, turbine protection, and gas turbine process engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of automation and control systems, ideally Omnivise T3000
  • Solid knowledge of failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), functional safety, and programming skills (e.g., Visual Basic)
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, combined with creativity and a conceptual approach to technical solutions
  • Very good English language skills

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We cover zero- or low-emission power generation, gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators under one roof. We also provide decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
