Join us as a CP LMU Controls Project Development Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales and business development efforts in the Controls and Automation Systems sector. Imagine leading strategic initiatives that leverage your expertise in controls and automation products to create innovative solutions for our clients. You will engage with diverse teams, collaborating across organizational and international boundaries to ensure project success. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Individual contributor role focused on business development and sales growth within controls, automation systems, and rotating equipment solutions.
  • 50–70% domestic travel required to meet customers, stakeholders, and build strong client relationships.
  • Identify and develop upgrade opportunities for existing steam turbines and generators, driving new sales and market expansion.
  • Partner with Client Managers to assess customer equipment challenges, needs, and business goals, then recommend tailored solutions.
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing resource, providing expert guidance on control and automation systems while maintaining CRM/Salesforce updates.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and market awareness, creating a strong sales funnel and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute strategic growth initiatives

What You Bring            

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation Engineering or a related Engineering field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ combined experience with sales/business development and Controls and Automation Systems is required; Candidates with more experience may be eligible for a more senior level role.
  • Strategic orientation with detailed knowledge of controls and automation products, services, and markets is required.
  • Willingness to travel domestically is required.
  • Experience with control systems for rotating equipment sales and/or capital project business development is a plus.
  • Familiar with industrial compressors, including an understanding of compressor performance and application principles is preferred.
