A Snapshot of Your Day
In your role as Team Lead Electrical Design Tools Transformers within Grid Technologies you are the leader of a team which consists of about 10 to 15 people. Together with your team you are managing the software development and operation of electrical engineering tools for the domain of high voltage transformers. The team is embedded in a common scaled agile operating model and working in different initiatives around the standardization and harmonization of global tool landscape for transformer business in one Agile Release Train.
As lead of the team, you are responsible for your people in terms of development and growth. You involve internal partners like SE DC, SE DPS, Global Process Owners but also consultants and suppliers and work with them in close collaboration. Due to your many years of previous experience in the domain of software tool development you are a competent partner for your team to lead them in planning and execution of software engineering and the related processes. With your experience in agile working methods, you are guiding the team and related stakeholders along our agile transformation journey.

- Being the go-to person when it comes to questions regarding software development
- Bring people together and be an inspiring leader for your team as well as for your diverse partners
- Increase the efficiency of the transformer business by the development and introduction of a harmonized, global tool landscape based on state of the art technology
- Drive decisions and fix results, ensure quality in the documentation
- Involve and manage all relevant stakeholders and communicate efficiently
- Guide and develop the existing team
What You Bring
- Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering or comparable education with strong focus on processes and software
- Longstanding professional expertise at expert level around software development and service operation of IT systems and proven digital, data and process capabilities
- At least 5 years of professional and management experience
- Understanding the customer’s behavior, challenging the status quo and make proposals for business enhancements
- Excellent people management with a proven track record of successfully building teams
- Previous experiences and knowledge in leading software implementation projects, process modelling, working with agile teams as well as working in a scaled agile approach like “Scrum of Scrums” or SAFe
- Strong cost awareness to manage the program according financial planning and timeline
