We’re looking for passionate and brilliant engineers to be part of the global Engineering Support TMS (Technical Maintenance Services) team, based in Shanghai. This individual will continuously track our customer power plant operational status, and timely provide technical recommendations to ensure stable operation, successful scheduled or forced outages.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Serve as the primary contact point of Engineering for the large gas turbine service projects in addressing operational concerns, maintenance outage preparation, and expedite outage execution.
  • Coordinate and provide Engineering recommendations from across the functional global teams in support of the preparation of maintenance outages.
  • Lead a team of Engineering experts to solve onsite issues, expedite outages, and provide RCA information during forced outages.
  • Provide technical support for regional Sales, Field Service, and Marketing.
  • Present technical solutions during internal and external meetings.
  • As a regional service engineer, you will handle a variety of tasks and receive support from global specialists and software systems.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related fields. Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Solid knowledge or experience in Gas Turbine technology and/or Steam Turbine technology.
  • Fundamental understanding of turbo machinery equipment. Basic knowledge of material, manufacturing, and repair technologies.
  • Good communication skills and experience in an international working environment.
  • Fluent English and Mandarin speaking is mandatory. German language or other Asian languages (e.g., Korean, Japanese) is a plus.
  • Strong interest in growing knowledge of technology and tools to achieve better results.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low-emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
