A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Regional Sales Manager you will work on interesting and challenging opportunities in a highly motivated, team. You will be managing sales activités in the allocated region.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Selling and account management activities
  • Fae-to-face sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers
  • Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions
  • Developing and delivering sales bids/proposals/presentations and conducting product demonstrations
  • Developing medium to long-term sales plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with targeted customers
  • Selling directly to the ultimate purchaser or indirectly through channel partners.

What You Bring  

  • A sound Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree
  • Extensive Sales experience (+8 years preferred) with good knowledge in Siemens Energy product and specially in Turbo machineries.
  • Sound knowledge of the industries in Mexico, Central America and Caribbean, specifically related to Power Generation, Sugar and Ethanol.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to higher management, public groups, Executive staff, the Management Committee and key client groups.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is necessary; fluency in Portuguese also will be good.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Ability to travel mainly within Latin Americas and some intercontinental travel for up to or exceeding 40%,
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the Mexico without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
