Reciprocating Equipment Technician

A Snapshot of Your Day

 

You come to work every day expecting to learn something new every day. You work with your hands, taking equipment apart, inspecting it and putting it back together.  You work on reciprocating compressor unit equipment: Compressors, Piston and rod assemblies, Connecting Rods, etc.  

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Key team member completing equipment repairs
  • Assessing discrepancies with equipment
  • Documenting condition of incoming equipment
  • Reassembling and preparing equipment for delivery to end users

 

What You Bring 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A willingness to learn and accept direction.
  • An eagerness to work with your hands disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling mechanical equipment.
  • 2-3 years of experience with Reciprocating equipment is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience taking measurements with calipers and micrometers preferred, but not required.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
 

As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.   Siemens Energy is pausing its mandatory vaccine policy while the issue is addressed by the courts. SEI will monitor the situation closely and may reimplement its policy if required to comply with federal law.  Should the vaccine policy be reimplemented, this position requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious accommodation.
