Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, operations management, similar field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience is required.
  • 5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience is required. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level. Exposure to Lean Six Sigma and quality is highly preferred.
  • Expert leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others, effective coaching, leading a team-based approach to decision-making. Auditing experience is a plus
  • Must have strong written and oral skills.  Communicate with internal product lines. Must be detailed orientated, be able to perform a root cause and corrective action solution(s).  Trouble shoot complex internal customer issues.  Be able to delegate and direct others.

 Your responsibilities 

  • Point of contact for root cause/ corrective actions and participate in discovery, evaluation, and development of improvement projects. Identify areas for continuous improvement activities across the business.
  • Engage workforce at all levels to gain commitment and understanding of the business change establish that lean principles are in place to achieve required standards. Perform time studies on occasion.
  • Lead procedures development and updates. Lead facility audits (Internal/ External). Facility monthly metric updating – Gemba Boards/ KPI updates. Support QIS reporting and coordinate root cause investigations. Process improvements/ procedures. Quality issue – workshop. Facilitation. Support Quality Alerts.
  • Employee Training Matrix Coordination. 6S implementation plan (Facility Housekeeping)/ Safety.
  • EHS support with daily activities
  • Support the QC/ inspection team when needed. Support ISO/ DNV compliance activities. Other assignments/duties as required.
