As an IT Value Center for CRM in the global Siemens Energy IT with over 200 internal and external colleagues, our portfolio is very similar to a classic IT software vendor supporting our business during all phases of the application life cycle process.

Starting with the requirements engineering phase, continuing with handling the derived agile projects and after implementation we also provide the service management and the operating. Lead multinational team driven by the vision to provide Siemens Energy with the best possible software tool landscape on its digitalization journey! You can expect to learn, learn about new technologies, new partnerships and broaden your network.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Individual contributor role with management of a team of 4 – 6 people consisting of DevOps and Service professionals.
  • Service ownership and end-to-end-responsibility for Software Development Tools.
  • Lead all projects and services related to Gitlab, Artifactory, SonarQube and the MAP platform.
  • Business Analysis / Requirements Engineering.
  • Optimization of cost structures and controlling of budgets.
  • Representing the Software Development Community in global initiatives.
  • Acting as a voice for software developers in the management meetings
  • Being the interface between the Global Process Owners and the software development community
  • Handling internal/external license suppliers.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience as Product Owner and agile IT project management experience (SCRUM, KANBAN) Preferably certified.
  • Knowledge in using the following tools would be helpful - Gitlab, Artifactory, SonarQube.
  • Excellent team leading, communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to understand software development processes and work out requirements.
  • Ability to manage, support and organize social media communities of software developers.
  • Fluent English in word and writing, German is a plus.
