A Snapshot of Your Day

The candidate will be employed within the engineering team of the Siemens Energy Transformers factory in a multi-ethnic, multicultural, upbeat and dynamic context and will come into contact with colleagues within the local Italian team but also with colleagues from other Siemens Energy sites in Europe and worldwide.

In particular, the resource will be responsible for the development of transformer projects based on the customer's technical specifications. Thanks to this role you will have the opportunity to develop and consolidate relations and knowledge with both internal departments (Production, Quality, Purchasing department) and suppliers as well as with the customer.

How You’ll Make an Impact

●       Perform important part of mechanical design and prepare technical documents for the construction of power transformers, according to the Customer specification, the quality requirements and to the internal rules, by means of 3D tools.

●       Prepare technical documents (drawings, specifications) for the procurement of components and assemblies.

●       Prepare technical documents for the Customer.

●       Work together with the other design groups of the Engineering department.

●       Cooperate with the company functions (Project Management, Procurement, Manufacturing and Quality) 

In the medium-long term you will be able to

●       Define the external layout of the transformer, looking for solutions fulfilling the Customer needs and considering constructional and safety aspects

●       Collaborate with other engineering groups and R&D teams for support the product improvements.

●       Take part in internal projects for specific improvements of the design and of the ENG processes.

What You Bring

●       Bachelor's or Master's Degree in in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering. We are also open to consider canddiates with a technical High school diploma (perito meccanico, energetico o simili)

●       Fluent knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken.

●       Good general IT skills, at least about Microsoft Office products and 3D CAD tools

●       You have the aspiration to develop a technical path and grow in a real cooperative environment.

●       Strong orientation to reach the targets and to customer service, initiative, autonomy and propensity to work in team.
