A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Internal Project Manager in our Measurement Engineering team at Siemens Gamesa, you will be responsible for managing all measurement projects in our test and offshore turbines. You will also work with warranty cases and provide support to our Service and Innovation teams. Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments, you will help qualify new solutions and ensure our measurement systems meet the highest standards. You will take ownership of specific technologies, such as Fiber Optic Measurement, and play a vital role in supporting internal projects with your technical expertise. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to advancing renewable energy solutions and be part of a world-class team driving innovation in the energy sector.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Engage in dialogue with solution owners to secure project scope and requirements
- Lead budget and project planning, ensuring timely delivery of projects
- Conduct risk assessments and coordinate resources across teams
- Prepare work packages for design, cabinet build teams, and technicians
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and provide regular reporting
- Ensure the maintenance and operation of running measurement systems
What You Bring
- Degree or equivalent experience in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of electrical systems
- Proven experience in project management of complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and suppliers
- Structured and proactive approach to assignments, thriving in a dynamic R&D environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to document and share technical knowledge
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning, innovation, and new technologies in renewable energy
